However, Loren then panned the camera towards Alexei and asked him to tell her audience what had just happened. The latter appeared really nervous and revealed that he had just “lost” his ring in the water. He tried to defend himself by saying that it was a “stretched” rubber ring and that the waves were powerful.
Loren was quick to chime in and stated that this was a mere “coincidence, foreshadowing” incident.
