The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal Tammy can seek deals with companies beyond TLC in her renewed show contract.
A source said Tammy, 37, has had her eyes set on modeling and growing her publicity beyond the reality show.
Tammy’s pal says she wants to prioritize a new career in plus-size modeling.
The source shared, “Tammy wants to represent people in her community who have been through what she has been through.”
Previously, the 1000-Lb. Sisters star signed a strict contract which prevented her from taking in any stream of income outside of the show.
Because of recent executive changeovers at TLC, her contract was renewed and she was able to negotiate more freedom with her brand deals and who she works with.
The insider claimed Tammy is talking with a few agencies.
As of August 4, 2023, The U.S. Sun confirmed Tammy weighed 448 pounds, according to court documents.
The star had to give the Kentucky court her personal information – including her height and weight – in light of a trial.
Tammy was busted back in August for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
She previously weighed 717 pounds and has shredded 269 pounds with the help of a gastric bypass surgery the reality star underwent in 2022.
According to court documents, as long as Tammy stays out of trouble for six months, the charges with be dismissed because she completed a Marijuana Education Program.
The U.S. Sun first reported that Tammy was charged on August 7 and ordered to appear in court on August 31 for her arraignment.
SLIMMEST SISTER
Other than Tammy’s legal troubles, her focus has continued to be on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Fans of 1000-Lb. Sisters have wondered if the star’s impressive progress means she is close to weighing less than her sister Amy.
Back in September, an insider close to Tammy cleared up the speculation and told The U.S. Sun, “Tammy weighs only 30 pounds more than Amy right now.”
The source claimed, “It’s hard for Amy to focus on herself as she’s taking care of the two kids.”
Amy shares her two sons, Gage and Glenn, with her estranged husband Michael Halterman.

As documented on 1000-Lb. Sisters, Amy began her weight loss journey weighing over 400 pounds.
While Amy was able to shed 125 pounds, undergo a gastric bypass surgery, and be at a healthy weight to give birth to two children, Tammy struggled.
Her weight increased to an alarming 717 pounds before she was rushed to the emergency room in 2021.
In the following year, Tammy spent time in a weight loss clinic in Ohio.
After all of her hard work, she has dropped a shocking amount of weight and totally turned her life around.
It is unconfirmed if Tammy has lost more weight or if Amy has gained weight to close the previous 115-pound difference.
FUN IN THE SUN
Most recently on 1000-Lb. Sisters, Tammy visited the beach for the first time since her major weight loss transformation.
Her family decided to take a vacation together now each of the siblings had received bariatric surgery.
In a confessional, Tammy admitted she was proud of herself for losing so much weight and being able to travel, but she “still can’t walk very far.”
Since she doesn’t have full mobility yet, she got a special wheelchair with large bubble wheels to move across the sand with ease.
“I ain’t tryin’ to fall on my butt,” she said.
Unfortunately, because of the large wheels, it was difficult for the reality star to get in the wheelchair, and she almost fell forward while trying to sit down.
She was also unable to get her leg over a tall metal component of the chair, leaving her sitting sideways.
Tammy continued at the time, “Getting in that wheelchair is difficult. I feel like it’s going to tip over on me.
“I’m scared of it. If I fall, it could get really bad because I’m not able to get back up.”
Eventually, her older sister Misty helped lift Tammy’s leg so she was able to sit properly in the wheelchair.
“This is scary,” Tammy said after finally being seated.
Her brother, Chris, was “proud” of her for not giving up even though she struggled to get in the chair.

Fans of the Slaton sisters on social media loved to see Tammy thriving on the episode of the reality show.
“Tammy is sweet and deserves goodness in her life,” one fan encouraged.
“Keep going, Tammy, you’re gonna see and do more the more you lose!” another said.
A third commented, “I’m so happy they could go to the beach – I grew up next to the ocean, nothing compares.”
“Tammy better be proud of herself because I know I’m very proud of her,” a fifth reacted.
