Michael's latest move against accusations after fans called him a fraud

Despite being a fan favorite, 90 Day Fiancé star Michael Ilesanmi continues to face online criticism from Angela’s supporters. The Nigerian Prince is trying his best to live peacefully and spread positivity using his social media pages after leaving his abusive American wife. Still, some 90 Day Fiancé fans won’t let him be and keep posting hateful comments under his social media posts.

A recent statistic claims that the younger generation now predominantly uses apps like TikTok and Snapchat, while middle-aged and older people mainly use Facebook. The 90 Day Fiancé fans on Facebook can sometimes be harsh when expressing their opinions, possibly due to various factors such as life experiences, generational differences, upbringing, and communication styles. Since launching his Facebook page, Michael has been the target of racism, with many people ordering him to go back to Nigeria and calling him a scammer. As a result of the increasing hate comments, Michael had to turn off comments on his Facebook page.

Aside from the storyline presented on the show, there is no evidence to support Angela Deem’s claim that her husband, Michael, is a dangerous man leading a group of Nigerian scammers. It’s possible that the show’s producers exaggerated the situation for dramatic effect. Another perspective could be that Michael administers a Facebook group for Nigerian men struggling to obtain visas due to repeated rejections. These groups commonly provide a space for members to share their experiences, offer support, and learn from one another’s mistakes, ultimately increasing their chances of securing visas during their embassy interviews in Nigeria.
A 90-Day Fiancé fan on Instagram told Michael she had been rooting for him since his first appearance on reality TV. However, after watching the episode where Angela checked his phone and discovered his shady online activities, she now believes he’s a scammer. Michael took the fan’s comment personally and replied, “Bring your proof, and if not, don’t ever tell me such.”

Michael has the right to defend himself against these severe allegations because, to this day, there is no visible or physical proof that he is the ringleader of a group of scammers. The only proof is drunk Angela yapping nonsense on her TikTok live streams and footage from a scripted reality TV show that portrays Michael as a bad guy. Angela and Michael used each other to get what they wanted, so if Michael is considered a scammer, then Angela should be regarded as one, too.
