’90 Day Fiance’ Leida Margaretha Claims Set Up In Fraud Case
Leida Margaretha appeared in Season 6 of 90 Day Fiance with Eric Rosenbrook. In October last year, she was arrested, and subsequently charged with serious federal offenses. Now, the TLC star claims that she was set up. Furthermore, she’s complaining because her arrest means she struggles to find work. Read on to find out more.
Leida Margaretha Was Hated By TLC Fans
If you cast your mind back, Eric’s fiance became the main villain of the 90 Day Fiance franchise. After arriving stateside, she demanded that her military veteran husband get rid of his daughter, because she wanted his full attention. When he complied, critics turned their backs on them. So, her arrest in October found her little sympathy.
The 90 Day Fiance alum faced allegations of fraudulent payments and withdrawals when she worked as a temporary bookkeeper in Portage. The complainant wasn’t happy, and the cops got involved. Later, Leida Margaretha was charged with Bail Jumping, Theft-Business Setting, and Wire Fraud.
90 Day Fiance Alum Claims She Was Set Up
The TLC alum’s Instagram was mostly scrubbed clean of historical posts, and all comments are limited. However, she maintains just over 100K followers. This week, she complained in her stories, that she couldn’t find work because of her arrest. Additionally, she suggested that she’d been set up. She added:
I have been facing a lot of discrimination due to my pending charges…Obviously people will judge me as soon as they see my s–t..Therefore I don’t even waste my time to try and even negotiate with whatever wage or salary their (sic) offer. Unfortunately as much as I really want to help, the truth is I’m still afraid to even start working for someone as I don’t want any other as-hole planting s–t inside my stuff and have purposely get me in trouble.. again..
Leida Margaretha hopefully has a great lawyer. After all, some celebrities have gone to jail for wire fraud in the past, and they were American-born citizens who could afford high legal expenses. Todd and Julie Chrisley come to mind immediately.
