Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson Officially Done With Colorado?
It was a struggle for Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson to get to Colorado. She was thrilled when she was accepted to Regis University as it had an amazing nursing program. Yet, she had never been that far away from home like that or for that long. Then, her sister, Anna Cardwell was diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma. Plus, Alana’s boyfriend, Dralin Carswell got into some legal problems so it was a lot for her to handle. She also learned she did not have the funds for college so that was a slap in the face.
Still, she went despite Anna passing away at the end of her first semester and did all that she needed to. More so, she hustled and asked fans for money so could allegedly pay her tuition. Now, it seems she is back in Georgia and a Reddit thread was started questioning what happened to Colorado.
- I saw on Alana’s TikTok that she was moving back to Georgia for the summer. It seems like a lot of trouble to go through just to have to move back here when school starts back up.

Additionally, there were Redditors who had done the same thing when they were at university. Someone did point out that Alana has a lot going on in Georgia. There is Kaitlyn’s custody hearing as Anna Cardwell’s ex-husband is trying to get custody from Mama June. Plus, Dralin may have some lingering legal issues to deal with. Again, Mama June did say that Alana was looking elsewhere aside from Regis but that has never been validated.
