SISTER Wives’ stars Janelle and Kody Brown’s son Garrison has died at age 25.
The TLC star reportedly died by suicide at his home in Flagstaff, Arizona, on Tuesday.
Kody and Janelle confirmed the tragic news on Instagram, writing: “Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown.
“He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”
Sister Wives fans on social media are remembering Garrison with heartfelt tributes under his last post on Instagram, where he announced that he had adopted a new cat.
“Rest in peace Garrison,” one fan wrote in the comments.
“Absolutely heartbreaking. Thank you for saving this kitty before you left. Heaven just gained an Angel.
“Garrison – It was an honor watching you grow up on TV. So many strangers loved you so much and are heartbroken today.” another shared.
Garrison reportedly died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, per TMZ.

How Garrison’s parents met
On January 17, 1993, Janelle and Kody spiritually wedded after she was introduced to him by Meri.
At that point, Janelle and Meri were friends for several years.
Janelle and Kody share six children Madison, Logan, Hunter, Savanah, Gabriel, and the late Garrison.

Meet Garrison’s mom, Janelle
Janelle Brown is best known for starring in Sister Wives. She was Kody Brown’s second wife.
The two were married from 1993 until 2022 and share six children.
In February 2024, Janelle revealed on Instagram that she had two lumps removed from her face after being diagnosed with a carcinoma.
Garrison’s final post revealed
Just five days ago, Garrison took to Instagram to reveal that he had added a new cute member to his family.
“Newest edition to my home, Ms Buttons. She’s 9 years old and was on the line for euthanasia but my savior complex couldn’t suffice,” the reality star wrote in the caption alongside two snaps.
In the first photo, Garrison held up Ms Buttons close to his face while smiling wide.
She’s a gorgeous grey cat with striking yellow eyes, and the TLC star appeared to already be in love with his new pet.
The second picture showed his two other cats standing in a circle with Ms Buttons as she was already being welcomed into the family.
The comments on the Instagram post praised Garrison for adopting a senior cat, and a few lovingly called him a “crazy cat lady.”

Somber fans continue to flock to social media after learning that Sister Wives star Garrison Brown has died at the age of 25.
Major rift between Garrison and his father
In October 2023, Garrison shared a sad confession about his estranged father.
He revealed Gabriel and him had been struggling to maintain their relationship with Kody since Covid.
There was a major disagreement between Kody and Janelle’s household because of the strict safety rules the patriarch implemented.
As documented in the recent season of the hit reality show, the two boys had blocked all contact with their father.

Garrison is survived by his siblings
Janelle has six kids with Kody.
They are Madison Brown, Logan Brown, Hunter Brown, Savanah Brown, Gabriel Brown, and the late Garrison.
In all, the Sister Wives have a total of 18 children.
In addition to Janelle and Kody’s six children, Meri and Kody had one daughter together, Mariah.
Robyn had three children from her previous marriage – Dayton, Aurora Alice, and Breanna Rose Preston.
They then had two of their own children, Solomon Kody and Arielle Mae.
Kody and Christine had six children, Aspyn, Mykelti, Paedon, Ysabel, Gwendlyn, and Truely.
Garrison’s body was found by his brother
On March 5, 2024, Flagstaff police were called to Garrison’s Arizona home where they discovered his body.
Police revealed that Janelle’s other son, Gabriel, went to his brother’s house and found him.
What to know about Garrison
Robert Garrison Brown was born on April 10, 1998.
His parents are Kody and Janelle Brown of Sister Wives fame. He was Kody’s eighth child and Janelle’s fourth.
Garrison often appeared on his family’s reality show that chronicled his parents’ polygamist lifestyle. His parents divorced in 2023.
He enlisted in the Nevada National Guard in 2015 and graduated from basic training in 2016.

Garrison was found at home
Garrison, 25, died at his home in Flagstaff, Arizona, according to TMZ.
The Flagstaff police department told the news outlet that they got a report of death and when they arrived, Garrison was dead on the scene.
It was also reported that he suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound and no foul play is suspected.
