Tammy Slaton is clapping back at those who have something to say about her appearance.

On Saturday, the 1000-Lb. Sisters star, 37, posted a video on TikTok responding to one critic who told her to “fix them teeth,” noting that she’s gotten numerous messages about her looks.

“With all due respect, I wish people like you would stop commenting crap like this. It’s not helping my confidence. I was trying to keep my confidence boosted and seeing comments about my chin or my teeth doesn’t help.”

Slaton went on to explain that getting her teeth fixed can be expensive and although she has money, she doesn’t have the means to save up for it right now.

“I had to calm myself down before I replied because I really wanted to go off on you. I really wanted to tell you if you had a true problem with my teeth then pay for them yourself,” she said. “But I don’t want to be that person. I don’t want to be rude.”

“I’m trying to better my life and better myself. We should be lifting up people. It doesn’t matter if I’m missing teeth,” she continued. “It’s sad. Why hate? Why can’t you just appreciate the hard work I’ve put in. Why can’t you just appreciate that I’m still alive. Yes, I have flaws. I’m human… But I’m not gonna let you or anyone else ruin my day.”

Slaton has been very active on TikTok in recent weeks, sharing with her followers how proud she’s been since losing 440 lbs., down from her highest weight of 725 lbs. She had bariatric surgery in July 2022 and is now down to 285 lbs.

Last month, the reality TV star posted a video responding to a follower who complimented her on her hair, sharing how her weight loss surgery has benefited more than just her health.

“I kinda wanted to talk about my hair actually. If yall have been watching, in the fourth season episode 3 you’ll see in the beginning I had red curly hair. That was this past February and since then, my hair has actually grown in so much,” she said with a smile.

“So the surgery has actually done wonderful for my hair and for my body and for my health. And for my everything!” she gushed. “I’m proud of myself, I’m proud of my hair….it’s a work in progress.”
