Darcey Silva Takes Cosmetic Work And Filtering Too Far, TLC Fans Agree
Occasionally, the TLC star will reveal something real about herself, but those occasions are few and far between. Usually, whatever she hasn’t changed gets heavily filtered and photoshopped. So sometimes, critics of the 90 Day Fiance alum think she looks ridiculous. While many people call her out because they genuinely believe that she suffers from Body Dysmorphia, it’s not easy to tell the difference between those who care and those who like trolling her.
For years, 90 Day Fiance fans felt that Darcey Silva fans think she set a poor example for her daughters, Aspen and Aniko Bollok. Sadly, their predictions about obsessing over her appearance and affecting the kids came true. In February, Aniko confessed to struggling with depression, body issues, and anxiety. At the time, she hadn’t had much work done other than to her lips. So, TLC fans hoped that she would get the help that she seemed to need. Definitely, they don’t want to see her take cosmetic work and filtering too far.

Three days ago, Aniko’s mom shared a photo of herself on Instagram looking very filtered. As usual, TLC fans accused her of using Photoshop. At the time of writing this, her caption, which was edited two days ago, says, “Keeping my eyes on the prize! ❤️” However, before that, a Darcey and Stacey fan screenshot the original post and shared it on Reddit.
In the original post, the TLC star had written “The world won’t take me down…I’ll rise above. I’m not here to be chastised. #leavemealone #stop #bullied”
The OP on Reddit seemed frustrated with Darcey Silva. They wrote:
Ffs Darcey, you finally ask to be left alone but still can’t stop obsessing over yourself…🤦♀️🙄

- Darcey, if you truly want to rise above, there is a way to do that. This is not it.
- I guess some people with mental challenges have a hard time reading the room…I find it special when they start calling people “haters” for being honest and calling them out on their BS.
