Sometimes, many castmates bicker among eachother and create quite a stir. Well, something similar happened between Jibri and Tania.
Both appeared on the show during various seasons. Jibri has recently gone through a breakup and has been using his social media to make motivational posts. While most of his teachings have been landing well with viewers, his recent one didn’t. Many accused him of promoting fatphobia, and at last, Tania Maduro gave her two cents on this matter! Jibri Bell from 90 Day Fiance has gone through a massive change. After he and Miona broke ties, he went on a spiritual journey and traveled around the world. Be it being a monk in Thailand, visiting the most spiritual place in India, or stopping by Japan, he did it all. The new version of Jibri now uses his social media to make motivational posts to lift people.
But Jibri’s new post has been facing a lot of backlash. He mentioned how America has a 50% obesity rate, and people should focus on overcoming it. He also blamed processed food and junk food chains, which make people dependent on them. The star advised people to get over their addictions and start leading a healthy life.
Many viewers perceived Jibri’s post as “fatphobic.” At last, another 90 Day Fiance celeb, Tania Maduro, attempted to set the record straight. She said people should always strive to walk more, irrespective of their weight. She revealed how losing weight or being skinny isn’t synonymous with being healthy.
Tania emphasized how DRS, or Doctors of Science, dismiss people because of their weight when most of their underlying causes aren’t even weight-related. She told Jibri that most of the countries he visited were “walking countries” that didn’t have obesity issues and that they had better-regulated food and business.
90 Day Fiance: Is Jibri Acting Out Because Of His Breakup?
While many 90 Day Fiance fans lauded Tania’s befitting reply, others slammed Jibri. One commenter said that they were fat and still healthy. Another said something similar by revealing how people can be a healthy version of themselves without fixating on a scale. Others began to wonder why Jibri was behaving this way on the internet.
Some pointed out that Jibri must have undergone this transition after his breakup. While there were rumors of their split, Miona had already started teasing going on date nights with a mystery man while Jibri was out of the country. He at last confirmed the breakup and made a rap about how painful the experience was. He didn’t speak ill of his ex, and fans approved that.
