As of the summer of 2023, 1000-Lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton is almost an entirely different person.
The reality TV star has worked incredibly hard over the past year to achieve her health goals. After receiving bariatric surgery and completing her stay in rehab, Tammy is closer than ever before to her goals. At this rate, skin removal surgery is well within her grasp. Tammy Slaton is sticking to her goals amid Caleb’s death
According to The Sun, Tammy Slaton is now under 340 lbs. This is a fantastic accomplishment for Tammy after once weighing over 700 lbs at one point during the series.
“Tammy thought she weighed 370 pounds,” an inside source allegedly shared with the publication. “Tammy went to a rehab center last Thursday and got weighed. She actually lost more than she had thought. She’s down to 334 and doing awesome.”
On top of that, the insider told The Sun that Tammy hasn’t had any relapses and is still on the right track. Many fans were worried she could relapse after dealing with Caleb Willingham‘s untimely death.
Fans can clearly see how hard Tammy is working. But it seems that she’s also focused on being kinder. Through the last four seasons of 1000-Lb Sisters, many fans have expressed frustration over Tammy’s combative nature. It seems as if she’s decided to turn over a new leaf.
The 1000-Lb Sisters star wants to spread kindness and compassion
After completing her stay in rehab, Tammy Slaton is happy to be back on social media and connecting with her fans. Most notably, her TikTok presence has grown significantly since her return to social media.
She’s still sharing her old content, including silly antics with family members. But she’s also focused on spreading love and kindness to others.
In a new TikTok, she features a duet with another creator spreading a positive message with viewers. “Listen, if nobody has told you that you are beautiful today, and that you are worth it, allow me to do it,” the other creator begins. “You are truly beautiful inside and out and you are truly worth it.”
The creator goes on to tell the viewer that they are perfectly capable of achieving their goals, no matter who they are or how they identify. Tammy nods along with the positive message and makes a heart with her hands at the end of the video.
Life hasn’t always been easy for the 1000-Lb Sisters star, but fans are incredibly proud of her progress. Many hope that nothing but good things happen to Tammy from here on out.
