Per an exclusive report, a source close to Tammy Slaton and her family has confirmed Season 4 of 1000-Lb. Sisters wrapped up filming. Moreover, Amanda Halterman spilled in the comments of a recent Instagram post that fans could expect new episodes of 1000-Lb. Sisters to happen around the month of December.

The new episodes aren’t out yet, but TLC fans already want to know if there will be a Season 5. 1000-Lb. Sisters happens to be one of the more popular shows on TLC right now. So, fans are desperate to know what the future of the show is.

Unfortunately, chatter from sources close to the family gives grim reports on the future of the show.

Is Tammy Done With TLC?

As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Tammy Slaton is interested in shifting from reality TV to a new career. She wants to pursue plus-size modeling Tammy believes she knows what it feels like to be a plus-size woman better than anyone. And, she thinks she would be a good plus-size model because she can relate to the other women.

Moreover, sources have also spilled that Tammy was NOT happy with how TLC handled Caleb’s funeral. TLC allegedly staged and scripted a lot of the funeral and tried to make it a sadder and more tragic occasion than it actually was. TLC also reportedly wanted to paint a narrative that Tammy might fall off the wagon and start eating too much again because of his death. And, that simply wasn’t going to happen.

Fans Also Thought Season 4 Wasn’t Going To Happen

Now, as fans might recall, rumors also swirled for the longest time that Season 4 of the series wasn’t going to happen. Tammy Slaton had actually said on TikTok multiple times they weren’t filming. Furthermore, anonymous sources aren’t always completely honest. So, there is a chance TLC is just keeping plans for Season 5 under wraps for now. After all, with rare exceptions, TLC doesn’t usually confirm renewals until there is a release date to reveal too.
