Julia Trubkina, Brandon Gibbs’ wife, might now be deported to Russia when her visa expires.
Julia Trubkina, star of 90 Day Fiancé, recently confessed that she has been in the United States with an expired visa. Since she and husband Brandon Gibbs were featured in 90 Day Fiancé season 8, fans have been following Julia’s effort to secure a green card to stay in the United States. Since then, the couple has purchased their first house and begun to establish a life together.
The Russian has been evasive about her Green Card status for some time, since it was discovered that she was missing essential paperwork. It appears that her most recent update does not deliver much better news. Julia stated on Instagram that her fans keep asking her questions concerning her visa status and she told that her visa expired in December 2022 and so far she didn’t receive or has any new information from the immigration office despite providing them with all of the documents that they asked for.
Julia recently submitted documents to obtain a 10-year Green Card, but with a four-year wait time for an extension, her documents may take some time to be accepted. Julia’s best option would be to file for citizenship or consult with an immigration lawyer, but it is unknown what Julia’s future steps will be, especially given how difficult it is to obtain a Green Card in the United States.
Julia and Brandon were a fan favorite couple on Season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé. Despite conflicts with Brandon’s parents and the unanticipated hardships of working on a farm, it appeared the couple was still going strong and now are hoping to extend Julia’s visa so she could stay in the United States.
